Over the years we have collected and developed genealogy-related materials such as books, photos, maps, papers, DVDs, videos, etc. We're pleased to be able to share these with family members online at no cost. Physical copies, where possible, will be provided at a nominal cost.

To access these resources, you must be a member of the Cassidys of Cassidy Lake family tree. When you register for access to the genealogy site, we automatically enable access to print and file server resources as well.

Please Note: Photo Video Archives access requires a separate password. It is different from the password you might have for the Cassidys of Cassidy Lake genealogy and file server. Contact Peter Cassidy to request access to the Photo Video Archives.

Books

The Cassidy Story from Ireland to Cassidy Lake and Beyond (2007)
This 88-page 6"x9" spiral-bound book tells the story of the family from the beginning in Ireland, to the homestead at Cassidy Lake, to the far corners of Canada and the United States. New in this book is information on our ancient ancestors in the 1300 AD timeframe. Of more recent times, we chronicle the assembly and divesture of the homestead property at Cassidy Lake from 1823 to today. The Cassidy Family History 1797-1949 (1949)

Cassidy Lake Gathering Church Service Aug. 11, 2019
This is video of the church service hald as part of the weekend gathering of the Cassidy clan. The service was led by Otty Forgrave and included remarks by Paul Cassidy on the state of the church and Camp Cassidy project. The Journey - Cassidy Lake  (2008)
This 18 minute documentary recounts the 130-year journey of the Cassidy Family from the emmigration from Ireland of William and Jane in 1819 through the development of the community at Cassidy Lake. It incorprates rare color video of descendants at the great family gatherings of 1949-1953. Family membes can view this video on-line in the Photo Video Archives on SmugMug. Password required.
