Hanson M.D. stated that he attended the deceased from August of 1937 until June 23, 1938 just prior to her death. Emma died at the Vocational Hospital at 2:00 am on June 25 after battling cancer of the uterus and matastisis of the liver and bowels. It is reported that she had resided in Minneapolis for 61 years. At the time of her death she was 79 years; 7 months and 3 days old. Her husband Richard died at the age of 63 in 1915. Her son George R. Cassidy is listed as the informant, he resided at 6540 Sixteenth Avenue South. Emma was buried on June 27, 1938 in the Crystal Lake Cemetery. The attending mortuary was White and Rocheford, 2440 Nicollet, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
