Shared Note: - Melvin married Dorothy sometime during the great depression. Not much is known about her. Her son, Melvin Jr., said she was a prostitute and alcoholic though he may have been a bit bitter after she abandoned he and Nancy c. 1938. Melvin would only say that she was "nothing but trouble". She died in Alaska in the late 1980s of heart disease.
