Shared Note: - The adoption records of Florence Cassidy, RS 55 1904 Supreme Court in Equity Records, disclose that Edward W. Cassidy had no surviving brothers or sisters and that his mother had also predeceased him. The father was an old man of 80 year s living in California. That the mother and father of Mary S. Cassidy were both dead and that her surviving brother James S. Murdock was a machinist living in St. Stephen, and that one sister Sara Jane Rogers was living in Saint John. All the children were living with Sara Jane Rogers except Ethel Cassidy who was taking a course in nursing in Tewsbury, Mass., Ruth A. Cassidy who was residing with R.T. Mack, a druggest in Fredericton, and Florence was living with the petitioners, Frederick Leopold Rayworth and Mary Viola Rayworth who were not related to Florence. On the 15th day of October 1904, the following signed the petition: Claude Foster Cassidy, Percy Mack Cassidy, Daisy M. Cassidy, Hazel P. Cassidy, Ester-Freda Cassidy, and Sara Jane Rogers.
