| Shared Note: - The 1900 US census lists Richards' birth year as 1852 but according to the death certificate he was born February 10, 1851.We all know human error is prevelent in recording of historical information. The census also gives his immigratio n date as 1873, yet he and Emma Elizabeth from Massachucets were wed in 1877 in New Brunswick, Canada. Their eldest child Freeman H. was born in 1878 and imigrated to the United States in 1879; their second son Harry T. was born in 1880 in Saint Paul Minnesota. In 1900 the Richard Cassidy family lived in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota where Richard was employed as a carpenter. Richard Cassidy of 2904 30th Avenue South, died on February 24, 1915 at the age of 63 as a result of Angina Pectoris with Arteriosclerosis (Heart Attack). Informant was his son George R Cassidy (Gertificate of Death) also of 2904 30th Avenue South. [Richard's grave was moved from Layman's cemetery to Crystal Lake Cemetery [#15945] Lot 145 Blk 17 grave 4 in November of 1922. The graves were disburbed when the railroad took part of the land. His infant daughters Emma, 10 1/2 weeks old [# 15943] and Maude, one year [#15944] are buried in the same grave as Richard.
