Shared Note: - Patricia graduated from Doaktown High School in 1964 and from Fredericton Business College in 1967. She was employed briefly with the New Brunswick Department of Health but left in 1969 to become a full-time homemaker. She served on the exedcutive of the Fredericton Figure Skating Club abd was an active member of the Forest Hill United Church and its craft group. Patricia died of stomach cancer.

On May 11, 2003, the church Parlour was rededicated in her memory. The following announcement was printed in the church bulletin: This morning, we are pleased to celebrate the life and witness of Patricia Joy Cassidy. Our church Parlour will be formally dedicated as follows: 'This room was dedicated to the glory of God and in loving memory of Patricia Joy Cassidy 1946-2001 with donations made by her family and friends.'
