Shared Note: - Herbert Francis moved to British Columbia after the death of his first wife, Jessie. He settled in New Westminster where he ran a cartage business. He later moved to Murrayville, near Langley, B.C., where he homesteaded a farm which he o perated until his death in 1934. On a visit in 1982, Michael Cassidy, his grandson, was unable to find the family farm. The records of the Presbyterian Church that Herbert and Maria attended had been destroyed. Maria was a very active member of this church and for many years headed its women's group.
