Elizabeth was 45 and Richard 20. Richard and James H. were also listed as farmers. It showes Edward 16, Lucille 15, Andrew 14, Mary 10, and Anna 5.

The census of 1881 for Charlotte Co., Town of St. Stephen has James A. age 59, working as a House Carpenter. Elizabeth 56 and Eleanor A. age 14. All the rest had left the household.

From the adoption records of Florence Cassidy we note that as of 1904, all the children of James A. were deceased. He was 80 years old and living in California.
