Shared Note: - Of the family of Jane Milligan, we know only that they were upper class land owners. From an obituary notice found in the Saint John library, we know that she was the youngest daughter and her father, James Milligan, was from County Donegal, Ireland and died prior to 1875.

Jane died on January 7, 1875. Both she and her husband, William, are buried in the cemetery on the Cassidy farm at Cassidy Lake.
