Looking at the handwriting on the original records, I am inclined to think her middle name was Aline.

Reverend Robert A. Armstrong was an Anglican minister. From ABT 1907 to 1924, he was in Saint John, New Brunswick at Trinity Anglican Church on Charlotte Street. The Reverend Canon Armstrong was the 3rd rector of the Church of the Redeemer, Bloor Street & Avenue Road, Toronto from 1926 to 1948.
