A 67 year-old Clarence woman, returning home from work, was killed instantly when struck by an automobile at 6:06 o'clock Friday evening at Main St. and Goodrich Rd., Town of Clarence, in view of her son inlaw waiting in a nearby car. Mrs. Nellie E. Lundblad suffered a crushed chest and fractures of the skull, neck and both legs. . . . . . Mrs. Lundblad was returning from work at the L.L.Berger Co. Inc. where she had been employed in the alterations department for five years. She had alighted from an eastbount Blue bus and as she started to cross Main Street she was struck by a westbound car. . . Her body landed at the entrance to a service station at the corner where her son inlaw Robert B. Lape, 40 of the same address was waiting to drive her home. . . . Mrs. Lundblad is survived by her husband, Alfred G. Lundblad; a daughter, Olive, who is the wife of Mr. Lape, and a son Richard L. Jennings of St. Paul, Minn as well as seven grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Mrs. Marsh Castle of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Pearl Schmidt and a brother Raymond Cassidy resting in the state of Washington.
